Everything started when Bruma, our first Labrador, arrived home and
let us know this
wonderful breed.
After some time, with the excuse of
training her for obedience, we met a group of really cool people
known as "Crazy about Dogs". They came to Salto, our hometown, to
train dogs there and we established a close friendship with "Patón",
Patricia, Sabina and Ariel, four new friends and advisors full of
patience. They taught us what a pedigree was, what a dog show was, and
the importance of breeding respecting standards and looking for the
best blood lines.
With Sabina as our guide, we started taking our first steps in the
world of dog shows.
Brisa Huaike, our first female, daughter of
Alvaraziz Mercury and GCH Arg. Heatherbourne Harvester Of Linjor, possesses and excellent
pedigree and genetic load coming from English blood and we trained her
in obedience. All her characteristics make her a typical Labrador.
Then, Saygón arrived home (from " Huaike " Kennel ) and months later
Morena Huellas visited us. She is curriently working on zootherapy,
taking care of a group of kids with different types of disabilities.
Finally, our new dogs are Demian, our first male (Huellas Kennel) and
Victory ( B3 Kennel ) our first chocolate female.
As expected, the family continued growing. Brisa is now the mother of
8 black puppies and
that is how "Del Taiquen" started.
